ECHO Radio

In 2009, ECHO partnered with community-based radio stations to broadcast critical information on H1N1 Influenza in up to 12 languages.

ECHO invites community broadcasters to use our public service announcements to help inform limited English proficiency audiences about health, safety, civic engagement and emergency preparedness topics.

In the event of a future health or safety crisis, ECHO Radio partners will be provided with ECHO PSA’s in multiple languages. Expanded partnerships with community-based radio – the most common source of information during an emergency - will help ensure that limited English speaking Minnesotans get the information they need to be healthy, be safe and be ready.
