Tips for a successful promotional event: 

• Know your audience.  Who will be at the event? What is the primary language of your population?  
• Determine the event type.  Is it a cultural celebration, a professional conference or a resource fair?
• Identify the resources available. Will the ECHO booth be staffed to distribute ECHO DVDs, stickers and magnets? Will there be a computer or television screen that can play ECHO shows?
